Let me start the discussion for this week.
Does India have necessary force to fight against terrorism?
This is the contemporary issue which is running in minds of all the Indians, of course, not only Indians but also in other country people’s mind.
India is facing constant threat from all the sides: Pakistan and China in the North and West, Sri Lanka in the South and Maoist in the East. With dangers surrounding all over India, can we combat them successfully? There is big question mark.
Our Indian Army and border security forces are doing well. However, in this war we are losing our gallant officers and jawans. We do not want to continue this human catastrophe. We need peaceful negotiations in place.
Peaceful negotiations – Nowadays, this word gives no hope to common man. This is due to lack of faith on political parties. The peaceful negotiation becomes political negotiations. For instance, if we take the case of 9/11 Mumbai attack, Ajmal Kasab is found to be a victim and none of us are sure of what will be the judgment for this trial and when it will end (?).
The delay in action shows reluctance of our political leaders towards our nation’s security. Every political leader is looking for ways to fulfill their own wishes. Very meager (a handful of) leaders are bother of this issue. All the party leaders, without any ego and discontent, should work together and maintain secrecy of security initiatives discussed in the cabinet and should be patriotic to nation.
However, it is not only a duty of a political leader. Every one of us is waiting for another Gandhian like revolution to happen. Why don’t we take that initiative and save our country. Every Indian is responsible for security of our nation and safety of our country. Let us be the source for silent revolution.
Dear friends, contribute your comments on this issue.
